The Stetson Flight School is seeking to broaden its reach to serve the whole club, not just the traditional clientele of R/C beginners and former flyers. Our instructional team includes people with a wide range of skills and expertise, from basic flying skills, to aerobatics, to tuning IC engines, to building and repairing models, to programming various radio systems, etc. We want to share this resource with club members who are looking for help.
Flight School is open for business every Tuesday (when weather permits) from 16:30 to well into the evening. So feel free to just drop in to look for advice and assistance or just chat. Bring your plane and gear, as appropriate. Don’t forget to check the club website on Tuesday morning to make sure Flight School is on that day (www.stetsonflyers.com).
Or get in touch with me in advance to discuss your issue and arrange for help. Call, text or email.
That’s the make-it-up as-we-go-along approach. In addition we intend to hold scheduled sessions on specific topics. One of these will demonstrate Forward Programming of a Spektrum Smart receiver. If you’re interested, please let me know. I’m thinking of doing it at the field, under the shelter, on a Tuesday evening in late July. More to come.
